The Role

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Sales Representative to join the Data Sales team at Nasdaq in London. The successful candidate will play a meaningful role in the team by helping drive revenue growth and supporting senior sales executives in managing our client portfolio throughout EMEA.

The Junior Sales Representative will help identify sales opportunities within customers' data requirements and collaborate with senior sales executives to present tailored solutions. In this role you will actively contribute to closing deals and help build strong customer relationships with internal and external clients.

What You’ll Do

Some of the responsibilities in the role include (but are not limited to);

  • Identify key revenue opportunities and prospects in the market within EMEA.
  • Drive the overall sales cycle to achieve individual/team sales targets and company revenue objectives.
  • Responds to raised customer inquiries, resolving any client concerns and closing sales objections.
  • Develops a good understanding of client needs, competitive landscape and market opportunities.
  • Assist in client pitches and sales presentations.
  • Work with existing and prospective clients to secure data licensing agreements and expand account penetration.
  • Promote sales efficiency across all activities and processes, participating in revenue optimization projects as necessary

What You’ll Bring

  • An ambitious, curious and driven sales professional with few years of experience and at least a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the global financial markets.
  • Superb relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to be organized and results-driven while under pressure, when managing urgent client sales opportunities and deal closures.
  • Great Teammate - able to collaborate effectively with a variety of sales/technical contributors throughout the organization.
  • Display a consultative sales approach, strategic thinking and deal-closing skills with the ability to identify client pain points and present solutions.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.

Nice To Have

  • Proficient with Microsoft office.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
