About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join RX Global, a market leader with over 50 years of experience delivering some of the world's most prestigious travel and business events. As part of our award-winning portfolio—including World Travel Market (WTM), Arabian Travel Market (ATM), International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), and IBTM—you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry.

In this role, your focus will be on driving growth for IBTM Asia Pacific in Bangkok, connecting the region's most innovative destinations, hotels, venues, and industry suppliers with a global audience. You'll be at the forefront of bringing the best of the Asia-Pacific travel and events industry to one of the region's most exciting business events.

As a sales professional, you will be responsible for selling a diverse portfolio of event solutions, including exhibition space, sponsorship opportunities, digital advertising, and other revenue-generating products. You'll build and manage relationships with key accounts, understand client business objectives, negotiate commercial agreements, and help deliver solutions that create measurable value for customers.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of proven track record in sales
• Experience of working in a highly competitive, dynamic marketplace
• Experience within exhibitions sector is desirable

• Team orientated with a collaborative approach to sales.
• A growth mind-set is essential
• Willing to take appropriate risks, fail fast and learn
• Experience working within an international eco-system and across cultures
• Proven ability to build a wide network of influencers
• Able to adapt and thrive in a fast paced sales environment
• Excellent communicator with strong creative skills in presenting and socialising information
• Entrepreneurial and highly organised, with proven ability to appropriately prioritise and manage own time.
• High emotional levels of intelligence – skilled in the art of relationship building.
• Demonstrated ability to progress the sales process using consultative skills
