Printpack Rigid is seeking a candidate to fill a material handler position in our Newport News, VA Facility on 2nd shift. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager and his/her key responsibility is to perform shipping and receiving duties safely and efficiently, in accordance with specifications and quality standards.

Hours: 3pm to 11pm
Days: Monday through Friday
$2.50 an hour shift differential during the hours of 7pm to 11pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Printpack's Core Values (https://www.printpack.com/core-values/)
• Work in a team environment
• General understanding of rack numbering systems, tags, raw materials, and WIP
• Efficient operation of stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials
• Performance of routine safety inspections of lift equipment
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Moving material and general support of warehouse, shipping/receiving, and material handling functions
• Responsible for maintaining the area or areas that they work in and around
• Material Handler must be willing to work with others to fulfill the key measures of the facility
• Must possess skills and knowledge to complete forms and paperwork that will properly account for material being moved and supplied to each machine
