Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will ensure the smooth functioning of the systems and provide technical support to resolve any issues that may arise. Your typical day will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical problems, and collaborating with the team to implement solutions and improvements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor system performance and ensure smooth functioning of production systems. - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution. - Collaborate with the team to implement solutions and improvements. - Provide technical support to users and address their queries and concerns. - Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications and services. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Shell Scripting. - Strong understanding of system administration and Linux operating systems. - Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting techniques. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios or Zabbix. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Linux Operations. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A B Tech degree is required.
