MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Responsible for supervising and coordinating commercial support, project handling, planning and controlling within corporate strategies, policies and guidelines with the objective of enhancing profitability and cost-effectiveness of projects.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Advise sales/projects/business teams with regards to tender preparation.
• Facilitate communications between technical, commercial, sales/marketing personnel involved in the project in order to ensure that all specified processes are adhered to and all directives complied with when preparing proposals/tenders.
• Supervise less experienced subordinates.
• First level manager of a work team that could comprise professionals, technical and/or administrative staff.
• Typically without budget or hire/fire authority.
• Focuses on mentoring, coaching, and coordination.
