Summary
The Transportation Data Coordinator I performs standard and non-routine tasks to establish and maintain trip data records for their assigned location(s), including processing wage and overtime payments, calculating and tracking requests to corporate payroll for off-cycle payments. Enforces payroll policies and procedures including corporate payroll deadlines, resolves problems, performs system data loads, and provides guidance to other payroll personnel. Incumbent will work within a centralized location ensuring that productivity and operational goals are met in order to deliver customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
Inputs data to computerized time and data systems to prepare weekly payroll, including updating and adjusting employee earnings and adjustments. Runs audit reports to ensure the accuracy of the time and data output before this is sent to corporate payroll for processing. Performs system data loads
Completes payroll processing activities, such as: processes wage and overtime payments, calculates and records payroll adjustments, and calculates and tracks requests for off-cycle payments to send to corporate payroll.
May audit payments, review system output (e.g., registers and reports), determine and correct out-of-balance conditions, and prepare special reports for management
Answers complex questions (via email and phone) from employees and management regarding transportation time and data matters. Partners with corporate payroll to ensures compliance with payroll policies and procedures
Performs standard administrative tasks, including answering phones, preparing reports, maintaining records, and tracking information.
Audits and processes transportation time and data information submitted by Business Partners for accuracy, policy compliance, and completeness
Maintains confidentiality of employee and company data.

Qualifications
H.S. Diploma/GED, Required
1 year or more in payroll processing / time & data management, Required
1 year or more in experience in payroll and/or finance, accounting, or related field., Required
Knowledge of payroll practices, including local, state, and federal policies and regulations Beginner, Required
Functional knowledge of automated large scale transportation time and data application like TMW Beginner, Required
Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications Intermediate, Required
