We are seeking a Sourcing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the Operational Sourcing team by developing and implementing initiatives for tail spend. This involves initiative ideation, business case development, strategy planning, and executing sourcing methodologies, negotiations, and contracting to achieve optimal results in assigned spending areas.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as Sourcing Manager

  • Contribute within Operational Sourcing team towards the development of initiatives under Tail spend and implement initiatives in assigned areas of spend through the process of initiative ideation, qualification / business case development, developing strategies/plans for execution of sourcing methodology, negotiations and contracting to achieve the best possible outcomes.

  • Apply sourcing practices and manage low value / low risk tail spend supplier negotiations to ensure full benefits are realized and sustained.

  • Create / Develop and manage eRFx / quick bidding events, driving the use of digital tools to support compliance to established protocols for effective management of Tail spend.

  • Support the contracting process from drafting to execution by negotiating contracts through applying best in class practices and following the organization’s contracting guidelines.

  • Continuously manage priorities effectively, focusing on efficient work results. Manage a project against a plan and objectives to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in budget, timing or quality of work.

  • Act as a point of contact within Operational Sourcing to address queries from vendors and internal stakeholders on the Procure to Pay processes.

  • Uphold applicable Source to Pay policies, Legal policies, Ethics / Compliance code and any other internal or external policies / regulations / laws that influence the Procurement process.

  • Develop customer relationship and add value through working with cross functional teams, maintain alignment with the business objectives.

  • Support Sourcing function activities related to Supplier Diversity and Corporate Responsibility Lead / Manage vendor rationalization Initiatives

  • Lead / Manage Sourcing projects and deliver savings.

  • Identify, co-develop and contribute ideas and initiatives to overall objectives of Operational Sourcing in optimizing the Tail spend

  • Create, renegotiate, renew, and discontinue supplier agreements or contracts as appropriate to reduce cost and minimize risk

  • Recommend, support, lead and monitor supplier rationalization initiatives to deliver business objectives and achieve sustainable cost savings

  • Create and Manage RFx events complying with the larger Operational Sourcing team’s objective to drive more competition in the procurement process

  • Sourcing performance internal metrics and data collection processes will be followed, actively monitored, and viewed as credible and accurate

About You:

You’re a fit for the role of Sourcing Manager if your background includes:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in operational sourcing is required.

  • The role requires the candidate to work in flexible time shift.

  • Sound understanding of Spend Analytics, including the process of classification of spend and analytics of spend across different dimensions.

  • Sound understanding in contract drafting, red lining, contract negotiation and execution,

  • Solid understanding of the eSourcing process having hands-on experience in building and managing eSourcing events in Source to Pay tools (preferably Ariba).

  • Ability to understand the cost / market drivers in a category to help build strategies to optimize cost for a category, in line with the business priorities and based on a scenario-based analysis.

  • Sound experience in managing the tail spend, identifying the apt levers to optimize the spend (tactical buying, quick bidding, specifications review etc.)

  • Strong analytical & contract negotiation skills, with the ability to drive detailed contractual discussions internally and externally.

  • Excellent communication and good stakeholder partnering skills, with emphasis on building relationships throughout the organization.

  • Solid understanding of the Procure to Pay practices, processes and tools and an understanding of different buying channels and required analytics to monitor compliance.
