Your Team & Role

As a Vice President, Solution Architecture Engineer in US Businesses, you will partner with chief product owners, technical leads, release train engineers, and senior business and technology leadership to build and improve core technologies and business capabilities.  You will be a hands-on leader leading the transformations to build modern cloud platforms, reusable frameworks, patterns and elegant data driven experiences.  As a technical expert, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, an inclusive leadership style and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • End-to-end technical leadership for functional domains that directly shapes the strategic direction for shareholder value and customer and colleague experience journeys.
  • Build and operate an innovation lab, focused on establishing, evaluating and promoting reusable frameworks and rapid prototyping and experimentation with Blockchain, Machine Learning and Augmented Reality.
  • Practice lean-agile principles and driving team empowerment, commitment, and engagement.
  • Drive solutions architecture for differentiated platforms leveraging leading-edge practices and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with chief product owners, release train engineer and enterprise architecture to develop journey/platform vision and roadmap. Define and prioritize enablers that explore alternatives and build the architectural runway that anticipates future needs and enables innovation, flexibility, and speed
  • Bring an expert understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide technical guidance and leadership to team members and role-model our continuous learning culture by embedding learning and innovation in the day-to-day  
  • Work on critical applications, maintain a broad knowledge of innovative principles and theory

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
  • Clear customer, shareholder and colleagues value creation through demonstrated engineering outcomes.
  • Talent multiplier, experienced in hiring, leading and engaging a high-performance team.
  • Excellent executive presence with an ability to translate and communicate sophisticated technical solutions in understandable terms to a broad range of audiences
  • Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Full stack engineering to build, manage and operate Tier 1 platforms:  
    • Diverse architectural patterns (N-tiered, Domain Driven, Microservices, event driven, Mesh)
    • Full stack engineering (UI, API’s, Data, Testing and DevSecOps).
    • Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)

The salary range for this role is from $195,100.00 to $263,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
