As a Machinist, you will be at the forefront of manufacturing hardware crucial for our US defense initiatives. This role requires precision, dedication, and a deep understanding of machining to produce high-quality flight hardware.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts precisely from drawings, blueprints, models, and verbal instructions.

  • Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines and equipment to ensure accurate production.

  • Deburr all parts to ensure high-quality hardware.

  • Prioritize daily tasks, and maintain high operational uptime.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on a weekly basis.

  • Keep the workspace organized and stocked with necessary oils, greases, and other consumables.

  • Uphold stringent quality control throughout manufacturing processes.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic given tight deadlines and shifting goals. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with a variety of machines including CNC lathe, CNC mill, manual mill/lathe, and all other typical machine shop equipment.

  • Experience with Siemens NX or similar programs.

  • Experience with Fanuc, Brother and Haas controls or similar.

  • Experience with 5-Axis programming and machining a plus.

  • Experience with Dual Spindle, Y-Axis Lathes a plus.

  • Strong skills in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

  • Ability to own the setup and machining processes from beginning to end.

  • Willingness to work weekends to support mission timelines.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations.
