Job Description
As The Strategic Account Manager, you will manage the leadership of an industry end-user partnership. This partnership will result in sustained, demanding sales and market share growth for assigned products, contract agreements, and solutions and services.
You will develop and follow sales strategies and plans to achieve annual goals. You will manage the day-to day sales within the assigned account, including accountability for completing commercial programs, while working with extended resources. You will be responsible for a customer with multiple sites, ranging in account size, and for managing through extended sales resources to improve sustainable growth.
You will focus on the Discrete industry. Knowledge of selling in this industry is an important requirement. We require an understanding of processes (such as specification development, bid process, coordinating important partners, and services) that we use within the transportation industry. We desire an understanding of the digital transformation and smart connected operations including the digital thread, analytics, and manufacturing execution systems.
