Job Summary:

The Inventory Analyst focuses on executing Inventory Management processes within a specific Business Area, driving improvements in KPIs like In-stock% and Weeks of Supply to boost sales. The role involves understanding fulfillment systems, supporting process improvement initiatives, managing key metrics through root-cause analysis and solutions, and ensuring order flow aligns with supply chain capacity. Additionally, it includes addressing system and process exceptions (e.g., no sourcing, failed load, no cost) by following SOPs and identifying opportunities to become a subject matter expert in business operations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Creates inventory flow solutions by providing support, guidance, and problem solving to cross-functional teams
  • Leads root cause analysis, purchase order management, and key performance metrics monitoring to direct inventory flows within capacity constraints
  • Conducts trend analysis (i.e. Pipeline reporting) and initiates product flow contingency plans by proactively managing Replenishment Program settings
  • Track and report significant changes in order releases and provide necessary data in making decisions
  • Key skillsets must include the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex systems and processes
  • Perform root cause analysis on in-stock position, investigate and provide insights on core drivers of Out of stocks
  • Prepare KPI report and summary for weekly business review meetings
  • Regularly review inventory health to adapt allocations and maintain seamless ordering
  • Address gaps in the ordering process to avoid stock shortages while ensuring efficient allocation that prevents overstocking. Continuously analyze demand patterns and historical data to align inventory with projected requirements
  • Able to build strong Process & Systems knowledge and provide meaningful recommendation
