Job Description Summary

As a member of the Gas Power Business Operations organization supporting Global Services, you will be an active contributor in accelerating our Lean Transformation journey. You will act as the specialist in the application of Lean concepts, principles, and tools across our OTR (Order to Remittance) processes. You will partner with the Valuestream Leader for Lean/CI to define a pull-based Lean operating system and roadmap covering all aspects of our operations value-stream.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Lead and execute the Lean Transformation for our operations (OTR) processes to achieve operating goals using KPI-based performance management.

  • Be a champion of Kaizen and facilitate Kaizen events / Lean Action Workouts (LAWO) to drive improvements using transactional Lean principles/concepts/tools

  • Actively participate in Daily Management and Problem-Solving processes within our operations (OTR) value-streams.

  • Support the preparation of Monthly Operating Reviews for Operations functions.

  • Coach teams within global operations functions and regions using the Kata process.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in business process improvement roles).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilitating or coaching Lean tools such as Standard Work, Daily Management, Problem Solving and Action-plans.

  • Formal Lean facilitation training/certification and/or a GE leadership program graduate (XLP, ESLP, OMLP, LTT)

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $119,600.00 and $199,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
