As an intern with our Strategic Finance Team, you'll work alongside finance professionals and develop critical skills in business analysis, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Assist in quarterly forecasting and financial analysis projects
• Support data collection and preliminary financial modeling
• Collaborate with different departments to gather and analyze business information
• Participate in strategic planning initiatives
• Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and special projects
• Learn about financial decision-making processes & total shareholder return

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. Junior or Senior undergraduate student preferred
• Previous internship or relevant coursework in finance preferred
• Strong academic performance with a demonstrated interest in business and finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
• Basic knowledge of financial modeling preferred
• Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of financial principles
• Interested in technology, business innovation, corporate finance and strategy

The Canada national base salary range for this position is from 

$46,900.00 - $87,100.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
