Role Purpose

The HR Director for RLCS North Asia will serve as a strategic HR business partner to the RLCS leadership team, driving people strategies that enable growth, transformation, and operational excellence across VRF and VWV air-conditioning businesses (Toshiba, Carrier, Giwee brands) and Viessmann home comfort heating solutions in North Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with RLCS leadership to drive organizational transformation and culture change, ensuring alignment with Carrier’s vision and values.
• Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and development strategies to support business growth.
• Champion change management initiatives through deep business partnering, enabling smooth adoption of new processes and behaviors.
• Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture and implement engagement programs to enhance retention and motivation.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and manage employee relations with professionalism.

KPIs & Success Metrics

• Successful implementation of RLCS transformation roadmap and culture change initiatives.
• Positive improvement in employee engagement and culture alignment.
• Effective execution of change management plans and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Strong talent pipeline and succession planning for key leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• At least 15 years of progressive HR experience, including significant leadership roles supporting commercial/sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of China labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead organizational change.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
