Overview:

2020 Companies has a full-time Account Manager opportunity representing our client, Samsung Electronics America.

Pay: Annual salary $75,000 based on experience

Location: On-site in Plano, TX or Ridgefield Park, NJ office

The Account Manager will successfully manage day to day operations within the Customer Care department for multiple Partner locations. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within the territory (clients and retailers) to understand and exceed client goals; inventory management support; assist with upholding repair quality standards and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The AM will also be responsible for ensuring the customer has a best-in-class service experience and maintains effective business relationships at all levels and act in accordance with company values, forging a team-based culture of inclusion.

Job Description:

  • Manages all aspect of parts inventory from weekly parts ordering, physical inventory, spent parts handling and parts accuracy

  • Identifies opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency

  • Proactively monitors KPI and sales data and ensures target objectives are met each day in assigned territory/locations, providing consultation or correction to under-performing markets

  • Identifies and communicates market intelligence on current retail market conditions, competitive environment, and/or opportunities that may affect sales or product category share; analyzes market strengths/weaknesses/opportunities/threats in collaboration with management

  • Oversees special projects, as requested

  • Exceptional skills in customer service, managing any customer escalations per policy in order to enable a best in class experience

  • Makes decisions within guidelines and policies

  • Ability to multi-task and strong organization skills

  • Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities, as needed

  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Performance Measurements:

  • Ensure team meets established weekly/monthly projects goals

  • Ensure team contributes to the overall goals of achieving monthly targets (KPIs)

  • Customer/client satisfaction based on the territory's rejection percentages and substantiated complaints

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferred

  • 3-5 years retail or sales management experience required

  • Superior leadership abilities with effective, professional communication and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to show good judgment and initiative, make decisions and problem solve

  • Capable to work autonomously with excellent time management skills

  • Must be able to travel approximately 10-20% of the year to various markets across the US and work flexible hours, as necessary
