Job Description:

The Diablo IV team is seeking a Senior Producer to own Release Management responsibilities for our spectrum of live patch updates. Working within Live Operations, you will collaborate with a broad spectrum of team members to mature our release procedures, establish release timelines, ensure that leadership and key partners are kept informed on release statuses and risk mitigation, and champion strong ownership of content delivery across the team.
 

In this role, you will partner with collaborators of all disciplines and drive the stable delivery of content to players while balancing the competing priorities involved in releasing regular content updates for Diablo IV.
 

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA.
 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the efforts of release development, ensuring smooth and timely communication among stakeholders from release inception to release delivery live to players.

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact between the Diablo IV team and external partners to ensure release dependencies are satisfied and risks proactively surfaced and mitigated.

  • Author and maintain patch release roadmaps, standards, playbooks, and documentation.

  • Communicate the status of our upcoming releases proactively to key stakeholders, including leadership, development teams, QA, publishing partners, and platform partners.

  • Work directly with the development team, Live Ops Production, QA, and others to ensure release preparation remains on-track and risks mitigated. Partner with Live Ops and Live Services leadership in the operation of Public Test Realm.

  • Facilitate regular release retrospectives and drive timely follow-up actions.

  • Drive continuous improvement of Diablo IV release delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production role or 3 years minimum working within games as a live service.

  • Direct experience managing live game releases and patch delivery.

  • Ability and comfort coordinating with various game teams and external departments across Blizzard.

  • Strong familiarity with the game development process.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in tandem while prioritizing effectively under unmoving deadlines.

  • Unrelenting initiative, drive, and ability to be self-directed.

  • Promotes and contributes to a culture of inclusion and diversity.

  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
