Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system components to maintain service reliability and support business continuity through timely resolution of technical challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of software applications.
- Document and communicate findings and resolutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- Assist in the development and improvement of support processes and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster knowledge sharing and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex system issues.
- Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis to identify root causes of application failures.
- Familiarity with scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve operational workflows.
- Understanding of system architecture and interdependencies within multi-component business applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Linux.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
