Job Description

This Principal Solutions Architect will focus on driving platform and shared/global capability governance and standards for ServiceNow at U.S. Bank. They will be accountable for maturing us into a consistent and respected governance practice on the ServiceNow platform resulting in reliable and resilient performance, standard capability design and growing adoption across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, maintain and lead a ServiceNow COE&I – Including Demand, Technical and Strategic boards
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce governance and standards to ensure the platform and capabilities are sound, and following good practices enabling upgradeability, usability, manageability, performance and scalability. 
  • Review, implement and enforce platform governance, policies and standards.
  • Define, implement and enforce standards for shared/global capabilities 
  • Data Governance – Define, implement and enforce data governance, ownership/stewardship roles, standards, data models.
  • Enterprise Compliance – hold product teams accountable to act within the policies, standards and best practices.
  • Establishes and enforces Instance strategy.
  • Participates in technical design decisions.
  • Evaluates and onboards new capabilities/demand
  • Manages usage and access to Shared Capabilities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • ServiceNow & Platform Management experience (multiple users & products, data management, data governance & tech product architecture)
  • Has Implemented a ServiceNow Center of Excellence & Innovation (COE&I)
  • Has led a COE&I and shared platform capabilities in a large organization with multiple instances
  • Deep experience working on ServiceNow Governance
  • ServiceNow CSA and CTA certified
  • Strong understanding and prior experience with Proof of Concepts and blueprints
  • Ability to influence engineers and leadership on processes and order of operations needed to achieve end results required

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $139,740.00 - $164,400.00 - $180,840.00
