The Role
In the role of Vice President Fund Accounting, you will lead large, cross-functional teams. You will encourage them to deliver accurate and timely pricing and bookkeeping for Fidelity’s consumer and professional investment offerings. You will champion risk mitigation strategies to protect shareholders and uphold Fidelity’s reputation, while driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance. This role demands strategic vision and decisive leadership to navigate organizational complexities, align competing priorities, and influence outcomes across internal and external partners. You will lead initiatives in new product development, complex securities analysis, FFIO systems optimization, and process innovation. The Team
The Fund Accounting team operates within the Fund Operations area of Fidelity's Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) business unit. The Fund Operations group provides back office operational support to Fidelity retail and institutional products, including books and records maintenance, securities pricing, fund and security level performance analysis, financial reporting and tax work. The Fund Accounting operations organization of 175 associates is ultimately responsible for the accurate and timely calculation and distribution of over 8,000 NAVs per day supporting trillions of dollars in shareholder and client assets
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
