In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Instilling a high level of customer ownership and industry focus​

  • Leading, directing and managing the local organization of Account Managers to ensure targets in sales budgets and account plans are met​

  • Guiding/Coaching/Assisting Account Managers in daily business operations.

  • Managing negotiations process to ensure pricing is followed consistently in the area of business.

  • Participating in relevant industry associations.

  • Boosting Customer Centricity through coaching and developing strategies with your team.

  • Ensuring preparation of and challenge budgets, financial forecasts and provide input to Supply Chain.​

  • Collecting relevant input on industry strategies (as by request from the RMM)/GMM and budgets (IS, GMP, MTP etc.) and ensuring the content is directing the formulation of account plans and providing feedback to RMM/Marketing Managers on GMP (Global Marketing Plan) usefulness and short falls​

  • Ensuring adherence to agreed performance management measures within own area of responsibility, setting targets for employees, salaries and bonuses.​

  • Securing budget and manage expenses related to Account management for AccMs​

  • Building strong relationship with key internal cross functional teams.​

  • Ensuring proper allocation of local AccMs​

  • Confirming AccM’s account information in Salesforce is accurate


To succeed you must hold:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree (Sales/ Marketing and/or Technical)​

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant job experience, preferably in chemical or biochemical sciences​

  • Account management skills, demonstrated sales and people management skills​

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, able to coach interpersonal skill development

  • Industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%


Location: Franklinton, NC or Remote

Expected salary range: $150,000 - $168,000
