Job Description Summary
The Service Systems Engineering Program Manager is responsible for the execution of a portfolio of Services R&D, RCA corrective actions, Fleet Leader Inspection, and Fleet Reliability programs. This role manages program schedules, budgets, and cross-functional task delivery to ensure quality, volume, and timeline standards are met. The position operates with some autonomy to modify existing procedures to improve output and acts as a technical resource for colleagues. The role focuses on technical execution and program rigor rather than direct people management.
Job Description
As the Service Systems Engineering Program Manager, you will:
- Execute a portfolio of Service Systems programs, including R&D, RCA corrective action, Fleet Leader Inspection, and Fleet Reliability initiatives.
- Manage program schedules and monitor program budgets, ensuring adherence to business objectives and established operating rhythms.
- Serve as a key technical resource for the team, providing guidance and sharing best practices with colleagues who have less experience.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Management, Platform Managers, and Systems Integration Leaders) to support the execution of Multi-Generation Product and Technology Plans.
- Utilize and improve upon standard work, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure high-quality program visibility.
- Propose and implement improvements to existing technical procedures to enhance execution speed and effectiveness.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Services, and Supply Chain to resolve daily operational challenges and support effective program execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology.
- Significat engineering or program management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to function with autonomy while meeting established performance standards.
- Strong technical background with experience in program management or systems engineering within a matrixed organization.
