Change.org is searching for a Sr. Director, Design (Head of Design) to lead and create a more powerful Product Design organization with a focus on quality, process, and empowerment. You will report to our Chief Product Officer. As the head of the Design organization, you’ll define the design strategy and process; ensure we create high-quality, jaw-dropping product design (including shipping a new design system); develop and grow your product design team’s expertise; and help shape the short and long-term product roadmaps.

This is a full time role based in the United States.
We’re currently able to hire staff based in the following US locations: AK, AZ, CA, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, MA, MD, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI.
Our compensation philosophy is based on pay equity. All of our salaries are determined before we launch a role – they are based on a predetermined salary scale, the level on that scale and the cost of labor for that location. The annual salary of a Sr. Director, Design (Head of Design) is $296,000 in San Francisco/New York, is $281,000 Austin, Boston, LA and Seattle and is $251,500 in all other US locations.
