What success looks like in this role:

As a Senior Field Engineer at Unisys on an Australian government account, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical support and services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in a Deskside support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, performing system installations and maintenance, and providing on-site support to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure.

• You will also be expected to mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring they develop the skills necessary to excel in their roles

• Experience with desktop support, server support, hardware, network and software installation and troubleshooting

• Experience with supporting a corporate Windows environment

• Experience with supporting physical and virtual environments (Desktop and Servers)

• Operating system support (Windows 10 & 7, Linux, and other operating systems)

• Office 365, Outlook, exchange, and other critical business application support Standalone Support

• Printing (installation, deployment, configuration, disposals)

• Complex Software installation and troubleshooting

• Network (triaging, fault diagnostic, root cause analysis)

• Software and Hardware diagnostic skills and building/upgrading PC's

• Test and Tag experience highly regarded

• Asset Management experience highly regarded

• Minimum of 4 years in supporting Deskside support environment

• Driver's License required (Automatic).

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• NV1 Security Clearance must have for this role.

• Strong background in IT, with extensive experience in Deskside Support, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
