The Role
We are currently seeking a full-time, highly professional, and career-oriented Power Systems Engineer to support the Director and Manager in people leadership, resource planning, and project execution. This role also serves as a deputy, assisting with team coordination and operational responsibilities for a defined group of engineers.
The role requires strong technical leadership, operational discipline, and a solid understanding of power system operations in generation and transmission environments.
Your Impact
- Assist in capacity planning, project staffing, and team scheduling.
- Lead onboarding and mentoring junior team members.
- Support individual performance evaluations and development plans.
- Help resolve team-level execution issues and coordinate resource reassignments.
- Review contract specifications and define project requirements.
- Provide technical leadership in the configuration, tuning, and validation of key GMS applications, including:
- Automatic Generation Control (AGC)
- Economic Dispatch (ED)
- Unit Commitment (UC)
- Reserve Monitoring and Performance Tracking
- Load Forecasting and Control Optimization
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and contribute to the development of training material.
- Communicate detailed technical and project requirements to internal departments as needed.
- Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements and communicate project plans and updates.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to training material development.
- Provide support for pre-sales activities and assist resource coordination.
- Contribute to the execution of process improvement initiatives within the team.
What You'll Need
- BS (required) degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering including completion of one or more Power Systems courses.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Superior organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites.

- MS degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering including completion of one or more Power Systems courses preferred.
