Vanguard is hiring a Senior Business Technology Advisor to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of HR and enterprise operations. This is a strategic leadership role that will directly influence how HR evolves and delivers value across the entire enterprise.

You’ll lead the advancement of key technologies—including ServiceNow, Workday, Generative AI, and a new corporate intranet—to modernize workflows, elevate employee experiences, and drive enterprise-wide efficiency. As a trusted partner to HR and cross-functional teams, you’ll help reimagine how work gets done, unlocking smarter, more agile ways of operating.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead annual and multi-year strategic technology plans for HR and the enterprise, aligning systems to business needs and user expectations.
• Provide expert consulting on process improvement initiatives, helping internal teams optimize results through technology. Drive adoption and integration of Generative AI to streamline HR and enterprise operations.
• Reimagine workflows by leveraging Workday and ServiceNow, with a focus on HRSD and operational efficiency.
• Lead requirements gathering, process documentation, and testing for new or enhanced applications, ensuring alignment with global standards.
• Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of business systems and software, resolving complex technical challenges.
• Monitor user feedback and system performance to identify enhancements that improve productivity and experience.
• Build and launch a new HR demand intake system to evaluate work by value and impact, and provide visibility into the backlog.
• Coach and mentor less experienced crew members, fostering growth and capability across the team.
• Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Expert-level Agile and Product Management capabilities
• Deep expertise in Workday and ServiceNow, especially in HRSD and operations
• A natural curiosity to innovate and evolve processes and ways of working
• Minimum of eight years related work experience. Five years experience in business technology preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred
