Summary: As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for creating production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools. Your role will involve deploying the automation pipeline and automating environment creation and configuration. You will contribute to the success of projects and products by providing a reliable and efficient platform for development and deployment. Roles & Responsibilities: • 10+ years’ experience with VMware and associated product range in enterprise environments • Should have a strong background on concepts of Virtualization and private cloud • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions with a focus on VMware’s Tanzu platform • Automating everything from deployments to monitoring • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery. • Containerization: Implement containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for scalable and portable applications. • Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system stability and performance. • Should be familiar with below products: o VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) o Aria Suite (VMware Aria Operations, VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Operations for Logs) o Site Recovery Manager (SRM) o Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes, Docker). o Experience with CI/CD tools o vSAN o NSX o Dell HW (VXRail) Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in VMware Cloud Foundation. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with DevOps, Ansible on Microsoft Azure. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies. - Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions. - Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
