Pricing Strategy plays a key role in supporting product pricing initiatives, campaign evaluations, and long-term business planning. The position ensures that pricing recommendations are grounded in robust actuarial and market data, aligning with the company’s financial goals and risk appetite. This role collaborates closely with Product, Finance, and Distribution teams to ensure pricing outcomes are competitive and compliant with regulatory standards. It also translates complex pricing insights into clear communication for stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

The role continuously monitors market trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to support proactive pricing adjustments. It also contributes to scenario analysis and profitability studies to evaluate the financial impact of new product features or campaign ideas. Pricing Strategy helps optimize product value by balancing customer needs, market competitiveness, and long‑term sustainability

Position Responsibilities:

1. PIC for Campaign Review

  • Act as the primary point of contact for pricing-related campaign evaluations, including pre-launch strategy, risk assessment, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Develop and maintain pricing review templates including the effectiveness-review.
  • Collaborate with Distribution, Finance, and Risk teams to ensure the initiatives are well thought out from many different lenses.

2. Supporting Ad-hoc Requests

  • Respond to pricing-related queries such as data analysis, competitive analysis, and product review.
  • Deliver concise, actionable insights for leadership decision-making.

3. Preparing Business Meeting Material

  • Create structured presentations and reports for pricing business reviews, planning sessions, and leadership meetings.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives and visuals.

4. Supporting Strategic Planning Process

  • Assist in annual strategy planning, including target/objective setting, product mix target, product margin assumption and new product roadmap.
  • Monitor execution against plans and recommend strategic actions when required

5. Supporting Research & Development Projects

  • Support pricing-related R&D initiatives, including market research, concept testing, and pilot pricing models.
  • Build business cases for new pricing strategies and innovations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fellow of an Actuarial Society (e.g., FSAI, FSA, or equivalent) – demonstrating advanced expertise in actuarial principles and pricing methodologies.
  • 4-6 years of experience in actuarial, pricing, strategic, business planning, or business analytics.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and actuarial modelling software.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
