Position Summary:
The IAM Engineering Security Engineer will work with a team of Product Owners, and Engineers within Access Management (IAM) space for CVS Health. This position will include hands-on engineering of IAM solutions for ID Proofing. Operating within DevOps and Agile frameworks as part of our Product Management Model, an ideal candidate will have strong technical and engineering skills as well as the ability to help manage a suite of products through Continuous Improvement/Continuous Development strategies. Team Player mentality is a must. This position will require strong Product Engineering skills and is expected to lead team-members in assignment of and completion of tasks, with an ability to keep product teams on schedule as well as assist with strategic IAM direction of the CVS Health workforce.
Daily Responsibilities:
• Lead teams through the engineering of IAM solutions for ID Proofing
• Lead or coordinate the IAM team’s work and keep product teams on schedule •Manage implementations and releases via CI/CD strategies
• Implementation of IAM technologies such as Radiant Logic, LDAP, Neo4J, Java/.NET Development, MySQL, SAML, OpenID Connect, and REST/SCIM APIs
• Address issues and break down problems to be solved
Ideal candidate for this role can work in hybrid model from any of the office locations (IL, NY, PA, TX, AZ, RI, GA)

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Contributes to the design and implementation of the organization's security architecture, ensuring that it aligns with industry best practices and meets specific security requirements.
Utilizes advanced security tools and techniques to detect and analyze security threats and anomalies across the organization's information technology infrastructure.
Responds to security incidents, coordinates with incident response teams, and performs in-depth analysis to understand the nature and impact of incidents.
Oversees vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts to identify weaknesses in systems and networks and prioritize remediation efforts.
Communicates regularly with other IT and business units to understand their security needs and provide appropriate, individualized solutions.
Participates in security audits and assessments, working with internal and external teams to evaluate security controls and processes.
Prepares detailed reports on security incidents, documenting the incident response process and suggesting improvements.
Ensures the organization's compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements to protect against cyber threats.
Leads security awareness training programs for employees, promoting a security-conscious culture within the organization.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$64,890.00 - $129,780.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
