Job Summary:

We have a current need for a full-time Employee Benefits Account Manager. This role requires an individual who is professional and who displays the drive, determination, and self-motivation to help support the business and our customers. A successful candidate should be a team-player who can also work independently and who enjoys working closely with others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive inbound calls and direct them to the appropriate party

  • Give information and help to solve customer problems

  • Assist with eligibility, enrollment, implementation, renewal, and annual review processes

  • Process and ensure accuracy of client forms and applications for submission

  • Verify coverage for providers

  • Communicate and develop business relationships with clients

  • Scan & email documents

  • Maintain professional attitude, stability, and tolerance in multi-task, time critical environment

  • ID card requests

  • CRM data entry

  • Daily office tasks such as Outlook Inbox management, etc.

  • Math calculation for payroll deduction, safe harbor and other repetitive tasks for clients

  • Online carrier submissions in varying formats

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, required

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, required

  • Knowledge of AI in Excel, preferred

  • At least 2 years of prior clerical/customer service experience, required

  • Interest in insurance industry and receiving insurance license within 90 days of employment, required

  • Active Florida 2-15 License preferred

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required
