Job Details

You will oversee the management and Delivery of the Business Systems Analyst and Technical Specialist teams, ensuring the successful and efficient requirements, implementation and configuration of internal delivery projects in the organization involving the delivery of software solutions across the global business.

You will act in a consultative capacity to analyse complex problems, build insightful solutions to exceed business needs and expectations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

 Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day line management activities and prioritization for the team.

  • Inspire and support the team, and interact collaboratively across the wider organization.

  • Hands-on management of key / critical projects.

  • Improve the communication and collaboration across the wider business.

  • Accountability for ensuring that the agreed solutions meet the defined requirements and needs of the business.

  • Successful implementation by driving the Business Systems Analysts and Technical Specialists, ensuring appropriate communication and follow through from all project stakeholders, managing regular project communications/updates.

  • Support the Head of Product Delivery in continuous improvement of the overall Delivery strategy, including Gold Data enhancements, by playing a key role in the management of critical gold data elements to ensure this meets general customer needs and is updated and available in a timely fashion for new Product releases.

  • Ensure relevant project documentation and supporting material (involving business-specific use cases where relevant) is in place, maintained and fully implemented for assigned projects.\

  • Guide the team effectively to support the PDLC with appropriate input to requirements and testing where required.

  • Guide the team in documenting detailed functional requirements with an eye on usability, testability, and auditability, and motivation to ensure continuous improvement of processes around requirements gathering and documentation.

  • Work with other Team Leaders and Heads of Department on ad-hoc projects which will improve performance, quality or productivity and or any other business initiatives.

  • Ensuring the team’s success in running multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Coordinating and directing the involvement of relevant individuals and 3rd party developers/support organizations and coordinating communications across functions and locations to ensure ultimate project success.

  • Developing the team by promoting a culture of continuous improvement, championing suitable training and ensuring knowledge is shared and lessons are learned from projects.

  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and associated documents as per the Quality Management System.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of managing cross-functional project teams in a cost-conscious environment.

  • Experience of building strong relationships at different levels across the organization, and with customers.

  • Experience of the software development process, including computer system validation.

  • Understanding of the regulatory environment (GxP) is nice to have

  • Excellent negotiating skills and strong commercial skills

  • Ability to present to diverse internal and external audiences, both business and technical

  • Energy, dynamism, pragmatic approach to obtaining a workable solution

  • Ability to get the best out of employees, external suppliers and freelance resource, within agreed budgets

  • Assertive, well-organised, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Willing to get involved in the detail, and drive projects through

  • Ability to direct and mentor on the writing of clear, concise documentation, both client-facing and technical

  • Clear communicator – ability to explain to a non-technical audience

  • Numerate, able to present information clearly using standard Microsoft tools

  • Self-driven, robust

  • Flexible in response to changing business priorities

  • Ability to travel globally
