What would you do? Development of piping system design packages, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment layouts. • P&ID’s mechanization and line lists. • Piping design (valve/fitting/material selection, support specification, detailing) • Piping engineering (technical specification, requisition, pipe support) • Preparing the technical sections of inquiries, reviewing tenders, and making recommendations for vendor selection (piping specialties, valves, engineered items) • Preparation of piping specifications, including material specifications, welding procedures, and testing requirements. • Develop specifications for specialty items and prepare material requisitions. • Prepare site location map showing connections to major pipelines, railways, roads, docks, jetties, electrical transmission lines and waste effluent routes. • Investment project management and control capabilities related to grid assets to enable the energy transition (e.g. transmission interconnections).
What are we looking for? • Relevant degree (Bachelor’s or Masters) in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering • Experience can range from 4 to 8 years in core EPC work, as a piping discipline specialist for design and detailed engineering in the Oil & Gas Industry. • Desired skills: material selection, line sizing, industry standards, P&ID development, 3D data-centric design systems, API Piping Plot Plan / Equipment Layout development. • Proven experience in working with engineering teams. ACN/MM_24/01 10/06/2024 ACCENTURE – SAILOR Job Profile Catalogue Page 54 of 126 • Proven knowledge of piping design codes (US and European). • Stress analysis software knowledge (PSA5, CAESARII, Autopipe, Pipestress). • Proficiency in using piping engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Caesar II, and 3D modeling software (e.g., PDMS, PDS, SmartPlant 3D). • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. • Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with the home office in Italy. • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. • Strong decision-making abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a diverse team
Roles and Responsibilities: •Development of piping system design packages, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment layouts. • P&ID’s mechanization and line lists. • Piping design (valve/fitting/material selection, support specification, detailing) • Piping engineering (technical specification, requisition, pipe support) • Preparing the technical sections of inquiries, reviewing tenders, and making recommendations for vendor selection (piping specialties, valves, engineered items) • Preparation of piping specifications, including material specifications, welding procedures, and testing requirements. • Develop specifications for specialty items and prepare material requisitions. • Prepare site location map showing connections to major pipelines, railways, roads, docks, jetties, electrical transmission lines and waste effluent routes. • Prepare overall plot plan and area plot plans. • Prepare preliminary and final bulk requisitions to permit early ordering of pipe, valves and fittings. • Design underground piping systems and prepare all necessary arrangement and detail drawings. The systems may include cooling water, fire water, oily water sewers, storm sewers, sanitary sewers and chemical sewers. • Prepare block model and general arrangement drawings. • Design and detail special piping equipment and fittings. • Supervise a team of 5+ draftsmen and 3D modelers. • Ensure the correct development of the plant piping 3D model and the integrity of the design data. • Collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of piping systems with equipment, structures, and instrumentation. • Preparation of hydrostatic and pneumatic test procedures for piping systems, and oversight of testing activities.
