The Talent Acquisitions Operation Team is one of the pillars within the HR organization ensuring that all administrative tasks relating to the hiring, background screening and onboarding of talent to Citi is managed in an efficient way while providing excellent candidate experience. HR is a service-focused organization empowering Citi Employees, Citi Alumni, and HR Partners through self-service tools.

In this senior manager role, you will be leading the expanding Talent Acquisition Operations team in EMEA who are responsible for interview scheduling, background screening, offer creation and onboarding new hires for the EMEA region. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, oversee, and evaluate operative strategies to have efficient processes, improve the customer experience, and reduce losses to the institution

  • Review processes, procedures, strategy changes, and capacity plans to ensure productivity and turnaround time according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • Oversee all policies and procedures are in place to ensure operations run within the highest quality standards, risk is minimized and customers have a positive experience

  • Design strategies that generate improvements and participate in improvement projects with internal and external stakeholders

  • Monitor the team’s quality and efficiency of end results

  • Manage regional budget and productivity targets including workforce planning to meet both business demands and financial targets

  • Manage Relationships to senior stakeholders and other team members, advise on complex cases

  • Partner with senior line directors to identify opportunities and communicate solutions and analysis back to senior management

  • Perform people management tasks (performance evaluation, hiring, training and development, disciplinary actions) and maintain appropriate staffing requirements

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams in service delivery management at various levels of complex organizations

  • Proven track record in leading re-engineering and change within an organization across multiple countries

  • Extensive knowledge in operations management tools, methods and techniques

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, influencing and conflict resolution skills

  • Team player with the ability to manage in a matrixed environment

  • Change agent; demonstrated bias for action and sense of urgency.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills, to all levels in the organization including senior level

  • High intellectual curiosity.  Strong analytical and cognitive skills with ability to translate into actionable business decisions and execution plans  

  • Ability to work within a global environment with virtual teams

  • Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Strives for “best in class” practices

  • Fluent English

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
