Job Description:
Pitney Bowes Bank is entering a major growth phase. For 30 years, the Bank has financed Postage and Shipping, delivered Equipment Financing, managed more than $700M in deposits, and processed over $10B in payments annually. Building on our Payments, Deposits, and Lending solutions, we are expanding aggressively and looking for people who thrive in a startup‑style environment and want to help drive exponential growth.
A senior payments sales leader who knows how to win complex, multi‑product deals. You understand card programs, payment rails, and credit‑based solutions—and you’re comfortable selling to CFOs, Treasurers, Controllers, and Finance executives. You bring a mix of commercial instincts, financial acumen, and the ability to translate client needs into integrated payments and credit solutions.
Drive new revenue across payments solutions, including card programs, payments technology, and credit‑enabled offerings
Lead full sales cycles from prospecting through close, targeting senior finance and treasury leaders
Sell integrated solutions spanning cards, payment rails (ACH, wires, RTP), and revolving or transactional lines of credit
Structure financially sound deals, including pricing, credit terms, utilization models, and revenue projections
Partner with Credit, Risk, Product, and Operations to close complex transactions and manage the client relationship end‑to‑end
Build and manage a high‑quality pipeline, forecast accurately, and consistently exceed revenue targets
Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client financials (P&L, cash flow, liquidity) and delivering ROI‑driven solutions
Identify opportunities to incorporate Working Capital, Lending, Expense Management, and other Bank solutions into payments deals
Lead client presentations, RFP responses, and executive‑level negotiations
Monitor portfolio performance and provide insights to Product and leadership based on client demand and market trends
Develop a scalable payments playbook to expand opportunities across the Pitney Bowes enterprise
10+ years of experience in the B2B payments industry
A proven track record selling card programs, payments technology, and credit or lending solutions
Strong understanding of commercial credit fundamentals, financial statements, and cash‑flow analysis
Experience structuring deals that combine payments revenue with credit utilization and risk considerations
Deep knowledge of payment rails, card economics, and pricing models
Ability to sell in complex, multi‑stakeholder, multi‑product environments
Preferred:
Background in commercial banking, fintech, or enterprise payments platforms
Experience selling to middle‑market and enterprise clients
Familiarity with ERP, treasury, and expense management platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Coupa)
Experience carrying a quota and managing long, consultative sales cycles
Knowledge of shipping, logistics, or e‑commerce industries
Meeting or exceeding annual revenue and growth targets
Growth in card spend, payment volumes, and credit utilization
Strong pipeline quality, close rates, and forecast accuracy
High client adoption and expansion across payments and credit solutions
Deep, durable client relationships and strong retention

This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in the Shelton, CT office required. (No relocation assistance offered.)
