CSG is looking for a technically strong, people-focused leader to guide our F5 application delivery engineering function and steward a highly scaled, mission-critical traffic management and security platform supporting global SaaS services. This leader is accountable for the stability, performance, and evolution of application delivery capabilities that protect and accelerate customer-facing workloads across data centre and cloud environments.            

You will lead experienced engineers responsible for advanced traffic management, web application firewall services, and secure certificate delivery across a large fleet of highly available F5 platforms. The role requires balancing hands-on technical depth with strategic leadership by building standards, reducing complexity, strengthening automation, and partnering with application and security teams to modernize delivery patterns over time while maintaining reliability.             

We are looking for Operational Engr Lead who will: 

• You will direct and mentor a specialized team responsible for F5-based application delivery services
• You will define performance expectations, service objectives, and engineering quality practices
• You will manage hiring, coaching, and career growth for platform engineers
• You will reinforce a culture centered on accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement
• You will oversee design, lifecycle, and operations of enterprise F5 traffic management and security services
• You will ensure platform resilience, capacity health, and availability across redundant device architectures
• You will provide leadership during critical incidents affecting application delivery layers
• You will establish disciplined governance for platform and configuration changes

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of operational technical experience and managing team
• Experience operating delivery platforms in SaaS industries
• Exposure to cloud load balancing or ingress technologies
• Familiarity with modern application architectures and service routing patterns
• Relevant F5 or networking certifications            
• Experience transitioning legacy delivery logic toward application or cloud layers
• F5 & Traffic Management Platforms
• Extensive experience administering F5 BIG-IP in large enterprise or SaaS environments
• Deep knowledge of local and global traffic management concepts
• Experience managing large bodies of traffic-control logic and policies
• Practical experience operating F5 web application firewall capabilities
• Strong background in TLS termination and certificate operations at scale
• Familiarity with redundant device clustering and failover architectures
• Solid expertise across core networking and transport protocols
