Position Overview

JLL Business Services (JBS) is strengthening its transformation capability to deliver the pace, scale, and value required under JLL’s Accelerate 2030 strategy.

The Transformation Business Analyst (BA) is a key role within the JBS Transformation organization, embedded within a service line and reporting to a Transformation Director. The role supports the delivery of end-to-end operational transformation by providing structured analysis, insight, and execution support across strategy, process, technology, and change initiatives.

The BA operates at the intersection of data, process, and stakeholder engagement, helping translate transformation strategy and roadmaps into well-defined initiatives, actionable requirements, and measurable outcomes. This role offers exposure to complex, global transformation programs and provides a strong development path toward senior transformation and leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

Transformation Strategy Support

  • Support the Transformation Director in shaping and maintaining the transformation strategy and roadmap for the assigned functional area.
  • Conduct structured analysis to support prioritization of initiatives based on value, effort, and strategic alignment.
  • Contribute to the development of transformation business cases, including benefits identification, baseline analysis, and impact sizing across efficiency, quality, and client experience.
  • Support preparation of senior leadership materials, including roadmaps, executive updates, and decision papers.

Operational & Process Analysis

  • Analyze end-to-end operational processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities through data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and process observation.
  • Document current-state processes and support the design of future-state solutions aligned to standardization and simplification principles.
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., root cause analysis, value stream mapping) to diagnose issues and support solution design.
  • Assist in defining clear, practical process changes that can be operationalized and sustained by JBS teams.

Technology & Transformation Delivery

  • Support transformation initiatives that involve technology enablement, automation, or workflow optimization.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements, ensuring traceability from strategic objectives to functional specifications.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, and readiness activities to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
  • Act as a bridge between operations, transformation, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are pragmatic and value-driven.

Portfolio Execution & Governance

  • Support portfolio-level governance activities, including tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and benefits across multiple initiatives.
  • Maintain structured documentation for initiatives, including RAID logs, status reporting, and KPI tracking.
  • Support consistent delivery standards and artefacts across initiatives, aligned to the Transformation Director’s governance approach.
  • Contribute to cross-functional coordination and communication in a matrixed, global environment.

Data, Insights & Benefits Realization

  • Analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs to support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Support benefits realization by helping establish baselines, define KPIs, and track post-implementation outcomes.
  • Contribute to building a data-driven transformation culture within JBS operations.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 3–6 years of experience in business analysis, transformation, consulting, or operational improvement roles.
  • Exposure to shared services, GCC, or business services environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting transformation, process improvement, or technology-enabled change initiatives.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguity and identify actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze operational processes and translate findings into clear improvement opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to support executive-level materials with clarity and precision.
  • Experience applying core business analysis techniques, including:
    • Requirements elicitation and documentation
    • Process mapping (e.g., swimlanes, value stream maps)
    • Gap analysis and impact assessment
    • Root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in LEAN or Agile methodologies
  • Experience with data and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure to automation, AI-enabled solutions, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Prior experience working in consulting or internal transformation teams.

Personal Attributes

  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn within a complex transformation environment.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Motivated by delivering tangible outcomes and contributing to meaningful change.
