Job Description:

There is currently an exciting opportunity for midwives with extensive Birthing Suite experience to join our casual pool in the Birthing Suite at the Mater Hospital.

RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

  • Ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Taking full responsibility for planning, managing and delivering patient care.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
  • Adherence to key performance indicators.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Hold a current AHPRA registration and be eligible to work in Australia.
  • Have 5 years post registration experience, with a minimum 2-year Birthing Suite experience.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be willing to work morning, evening and night duty shifts.
  • Be willing to work in other areas of Maternity as required.
