The InfoSec FAB team is focused on the systemic improvement of our Industrial Controls Systems (ICS) firewalls that protect each of our Product Supply (PS) sites. This is accomplished via five FAB services:

  • The investigation and decision of incoming ICS firewall tickets (Service 1)
  • The research and mitigation of existing non-compliant ICS FW rules (Service 2)
  • Working closely with tool owners and sites to authorize 90 days of ICS FW oversight/exception of roll-outs and migrations (Service 3)
  • Working closely with rule owners to continue to vet and refine existing rules annually (Service 4)
  • Provide technical expertise for micro-segmentation and policy refresh at sites (Service 5)

The FAB is divided into three distinct regions around the globe; Manilla Philippines, Warsaw Poland, and Cincinnati USA. The FAB Analyst role is the foundational position on a regional team, and candidates are expected to learn the diverse systems, applications, and solutions that P&G depends on to continue to make, pack, and ship our superior products. FAB Analysts are also expected to continue to hone their skills and expertise by their performance of the five services listed above, helping to ensuring both the safety and security of our sites.

The ideal candidate possess a strong background in either cybersecurity and Operational Technology (OT). An understanding of NG firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and basic networking concepts is also advantageous.

Candidate plays a key part in proactively protecting networks, applications, and infrastructure from cyber threats globally. Helps drive the remediation of non-compliant ICS firewall rules. Works closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Network Operations Center (NOC) teams, and other internal organizations to achieve the shared vision of enhancing the company’s cyber security posture. Conducts incident investigations, as well as advising sites and rule owners on remediation steps. Leverages the central firewall management solution and the corporate SIEM the proactively enhance the cyber security posture of the company. Effectively communicates technical information to non-technical audiences and influences others to comply with policies and conform to standards and best practices.

Job Qualifications

FAB Analyst requires one of the following

  • 1+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience or equivalent education with certification.
  • 2+ years of Operational Technology (OT) experience in a technician role
  • Firewall experience, though not required, is highly desirable
     

FAB Analyst expectations while in role

  • Certification in all three levels of P&G PS Cybersecurity firewall trainings
  • Complete the SANS ICS410 training and attain the associated GICSP certification
