TEAM LEADER - WALL FAB

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintains efficiency and productivity levels according to plant goals.

· Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.

· Leads and facilitates the daily CCC Meeting.

· Creates and follows Leader Standard Work

· Administers all performance evaluations on personnel assigned to their area

· Performs Weekly Audit of Toolboxes

· Oversees and ensures that individual assigned tasks are completed in a timely fashion according to specifications and construction standards

· Identifies training needs of assigned individuals and communicates these needs to the appropriate group leader; assists group leaders with training record maintenance

· Controls materials cost in assigned areas of responsibility

· Follows and maintains 5S requirements for their assigned area of responsibility

· Ensures that all employees are assigned to their areas or other area and are following all safety policies and procedures

· Forwards material requisitions to group leaders for approval and / or staging by material handlers

· Ensures that all employees within their assigned areas are quipped with the proper tools to complete their work in a satisfactory manner

· Identifies employee resource requirements according to workload in assigned areas and communicates these requirements to the appropriate group leader

· Maintains manufacturing production tempo required to meet on time shipping schedules

· Identifies product nonconformity and issues complete, detailed DR’s to group leaders for the review and approval

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

· Read and write English

· High School Diploma or Equivalent Education preferred

· Knowledge of company safety policies

· Able to read Tape measure

· Must have good problem-solving skills

· Prior experience with wall fabrication

· Prior Supervisory experience preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities

· Follows daily production schedules for assigned employees which interfaces with the Master Production Schedule

· Assigns individual tasks to small groups of individuals and monitors their progress

· Detects employee relations problems and brings these issues to the attention of the appropriate group leader

· Promotes and enforces plant policies and guidelines
