What You’ll Do:
In this high-impact role, you’ll be the face of TYLin’s aviation practice across the West. You’ll guide strategy, grow client relationships, lead key pursuits, and ensure successful project delivery—while building and mentoring a team that’s passionate about technical excellence and delivering real-world results.
You'll collaborate with industry leaders across the country, help shape the future of airports and aviation infrastructure, and be a key part of a team that values innovation, sustainability, and partnership.
Your Focus Areas:
Business Leadership & Growth
Drive growth and performance of the aviation sector in the West—owning strategy, revenue, and client relationships
Partner across sectors to expand opportunities, win high-profile pursuits, and deliver integrated solutions
Represent TYLin at industry events and forums, building visibility and forging strong client connections
Work closely with the national Aviation Sector Lead to bring strategic plans to life and fuel market growth
Project & Client Delivery
Oversee major aviation projects from concept through completion
Lead teams in project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling
Ensure exceptional client experience and project outcomes that meet high-quality, safety, and performance standards
People Leadership
Build and empower high-performing teams; attract and retain top aviation talent
Coach and mentor project managers, technical leads, and business developers
Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that values diverse perspectives and technical excellence
Operational & Risk Oversight
Manage sector performance, including financials, risk, and compliance
Guide project teams on contracts, execution, and performance best practices
Support talent development, succession planning, and staff engagement
Who You Are:
A senior leader with 20+ years of experience in aviation design, engineering, and project delivery
A relationship-builder with a successful track record of winning and delivering complex aviation projects
Experienced in leading teams and growing practices in the AEC industry
Strategic and forward-thinking, with a deep understanding of aviation markets and trends
A strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a multidisciplinary, matrixed environment
PE license preferred; Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering or related field

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $170,000 - $297,000 for this position and local market.
