Summary:

The Asset Services Associate, specializing in LATAM markets, is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and compliant processing of asset servicing events, with a focus on the Latin American region. This bilingual (Spanish/English) role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to interact with clients and internal stakeholders. The Associate will manage reconciliations, process transactions, resolve inquiries, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while contributing to high client satisfaction within the LATAM market. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach.

Description:

• Identify & Analyze new and updated corporate action events using various vendor sources.
• Liaise with Depositories, Agents, Trustees and Issuers to ensure event accuracy and completeness.         
• Pro-actively seek out educational and informational sources to remain current on industry trends.         
• Provide backup coverage for team members and assist team members during high volume periods.         
• Research and respond on inquiries from clients, ensuring responses are appropriate, complete and meet service level standards.         
• Ensure that any team-specific procedures conform and are shared with other teams.         

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 2+ years business related experience          
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.         
• Proficient PC skills (MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, Access a plus)         
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, attention to detail, time management and problem solving         
• Candidates must be able to perform their duties in a dynamic, fast paced work setting
• Ability to work on some US Holidays and work overtime during seasonal or volume spikes

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$49,010.00 - $68,390.00
