Account Based Marketing Manager
Department: Global Marketing & Sales (GM&S)

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Account-Based Marketing Manager to join Hitachi's Global Marketing and Sales (GM&S) team, a high-profile corporate initiative at the very center of the Hitachi Group. You'll support our Group Account Managers with marketing programs to ensure growth in both relationship and revenue.
You'll be able to demonstrate experience of creating outstanding ABM programs with clear KPIs that drive engagement, conversion, and growth. You’ll be an expert in capturing account key actors and buying roles, customer needs, and account marketing priorities, as well as rolling out compelling creative designed around the customer. You'll be adept at peeling back the layers of marketing to uncover deeper insights and understand underlying motivations within your accounts.
You'll have the opportunity to work with several of our most strategically important customers in the tech space (Alphabet, Amazon, Equinix, & Microsoft) to build our relationship from supplier to thought partner, with accounts that share our company’s priorities to drive decarbonization through the green energy transition, vehicle electrification and digitalization, and offer growth potential across multiple Hitachi businesses.
What you'll be doing:
Assessing customer needs and marketing objectives by account.
Establishing the key account actors, profiles needs and objectives and buyer map.
Devising the account program, selecting appropriate channels, regularly reviewing and refreshing programs, and adjusting as necessary.
Leading on campaign message development, creative and roll out, and coordinating solution content with brand and BU marketing teams.
Working with the CRM team to establish data feeds and program links into Salesforce, including intent monitoring.
Establishing clear program KPIs and providing regular, actionable reporting and insight to the sales and marketing teams globally via dashboarding.
What you bring to the team:
You'll be a confident team player who can provide a strategic lead and build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, essential to the success of this program. Working closely with our group account managers, brand, and business unit marketing teams, you will lead the roll out of our ABM strategy and programs for each account - combining messaging from a myriad of businesses into a compelling, customer-centric Hitachi value proposition deployed across multiple channels.
Demonstrable experience in a marketing role specialized in ABM.
Excellent engagement skills with the ability to influence, drive change through consensus and build strong and effective working relationships.
Proactive driver of improvement, with the foresight to anticipate issues, set priorities, and achieve results.
A strategic, but also hands-on approach.
English native speaker/high level fluency.
Excellent planning, analytical skills, and project management.
Frequent international travel will be required as part of this role, including to our Japan headquarters.

Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.
