We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Associate Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills and industry knowledge to drive data-driven decision-making processes, optimize pricing strategies, and enhance inventory management practices. This role is critical in ensuring that our pricing and inventory strategies align with market demands and company objectives, ultimately contributing to the overall success and profitability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to collect, organize, and analyze data related to secondary distribution activities, including sales, inventory levels, demand patterns, market trends, and secondary market pricing.
  • Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide proactive recommendations for risk mitigation and capitalizing on opportunities in secondary distribution and pricing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Enterprise Analytics, Technology, Sales, and Operations, to develop pricing strategies, optimize purchasing activities, and enhance overall performance.
  • Analyze customer behavior, sales data, and market research to identify customer segments and tailor pricing strategies accordingly. Support day-to-day pricing activities.
  • Analyze purchasing data and trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that impact pricing and purchasing decisions.
  • Create and generate reports and dashboards to effectively communicate / present key findings and insights to internal stakeholders.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Critical Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a strong data analyst, or in a similar role with a focus on problem-solving skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and matrixed environment, with minimal supervision.
  • Highly motivated, with a passion for data analysis, pricing optimization, and a desire to make a significant impact in the pharmaceutical secondary distribution industry.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

Additional Skills

  • Primary pharmaceutical distribution experience highly encouraged. Secondary pharmaceutical distribution experience considered significant advantage. 
  • Familiarity of or experience with inventory management principles or pricing strategies, frequently changing market dynamics, in a competitive landscape.
  • Extremely flexible, highly organized, and demonstrated ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent data mining and modeling skills with attention to detail
  • Independent contributor with high awareness / follow through on open actions, and ability to drive work product forward, to successful completion.
  • Ability to drive tactical and strategic activities forward, taking proactive initiative in sometimes ambiguous situations.   
  • Understand impacts to financial statements from pricing and purchasing dynamics.
  • Ability to communicate with leaders across multiple functions to make strong business decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with SAP, SQL, Tableau, PBI, Oracle a plus.

Salary: 71,800.00 - 95,700.00 - 119,600.00 USD Annual

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$71,800 - $119,600
