In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This includes guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role requires ensuring that development standards are maintained, and that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect, along with continuous monitoring and improvement of processes to support successful project outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP ABAP applications within HANA environments.
- Ability to design and implement complex custom software components that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and code review processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Capability to lead technical discussions and provide clear guidance on development challenges and solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
