Primary Function

The Imaging Business Analyst will provide critical support for Imaging and document retention to process and monitor compliance to performance standards. This position protects performance standards for document ingestion and export processes. Failure to perform at standards would cause major negative impact downstream for all servicing departments and outside partners.

Principal Duties

  • Provide analytical support for imaging and document retention software/systems (i.e., Carbon Copy, OnBase and H2O).
  • Work successfully with business, PMO and IT to document and coordinate new process implementation.
  • Develop ad hoc reporting on image reconciliation.
  • Work with the reporting team to enhance standardized reporting for business on performance, SLAs, and quality results.
  • Provide services for onboarding of images for client transfers including post document load analysis and missing document investigation.
  • Provide services for uploading ad-hoc images for Servicing as needed.
  • Provide services for exporting of images for Sales/Releases
  • Monitor and trouble shoot all vendor document interfaces with document repository systems.
  • Provide document upload/export support to all Document Repository customers.
  • Perform BAT testing for enhancements to processes owned.
  • Create SQL queries.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management and business need.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements  

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • 2-4 years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Experience in business analytics and process documentation.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements  

  • Knowledge of Mortgage industry business processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Intermediate SQL skills.
  • Familiarity with working in a data warehouse environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization.
  • High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and learn new systems and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills & problem-solving abilities; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High degree of professional maturity, integrity, ability to maintain confidential data and information.
  • High degree of business acumen; strong technical aptitude. Strong client orientation.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Excel, pivot tables, sorting, and conditional formatting.
  • SQL skills to create simple to intermediate queries.
