Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced SoC Lead to drive the architecture, design, and integration of System-on-Chip platforms for high-performance embedded applications in Automotive domain. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, and software domains to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient SoC solutions. We are looking for leaders in Automotive domain with experience in multiple SOCs (Qualcomm, Renesas, Texas Instruments, NXP and the likes); Expertise in bringing Bootloaders, Operating system on SOC; Expertise in Base software, SW integration and OS optimization; Expertise in working with cross functional teams in Infotainment, Powertrain, ADAS domain covering display, Camera, Audio/Video areas Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: •Lead the definition and development of SoC architecture for automotive vehicle platforms including infotainment, ADAS, and vehicle control systems. •Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization. •Drive platform decisions including CPU/GPU/DSP selection, memory hierarchy, power management, and peripheral interfaces. •Lead the design, integration, and validation of Base Software (Linux, Android, QNX) for automotive SoCs. •Oversee bring-up, validation, and debugging of SoC platforms. •Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, PCIe, USB, MIPI, Ethernet). •Interface with silicon vendors, IP providers, and foundries. •Define and manage SoC roadmap aligned with product and business goals. •Drive development and optimization of Display, Camera, Audio, and Video pipelines. •Collaborate with system architects, hardware, and application teams to ensure seamless SoC platform functionality. •Guide a team of engineers, define priorities, and ensure on-time delivery of milestones. •Interface with Tier-1s, OEMs, and partners for technical discussions and solution alignment. •Work closely with cross-functional teams across globe Professional & Technical Skills: Technical Experience: •Overall, 15+ years of experience in Automotive/Embedded Software domain. 3-5 years in Lead role. Worked on at-least 2 SOCs for 2 projects as a Lead Architect •Proven experience in SoC architecture and embedded systems for automotive applications. •Deep understanding of ARM, RISC-V, or custom automotive-grade processors. •Experience with SoC bring-up, BSPs, device drivers, and middleware. •Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet). •Familiarity with firmware development (bootloaders, BSPs, device drivers). •Strong knowledge of power and thermal management in constrained environments. •Proven expertise in Base SW development (Linux, Android, QNX). •Strong knowledge of Display Infrastructure, Camera, Audio, and Video subsystems. •Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. •Leadership in driving cross-domain technical teams. •Excellent problem solving and debugging skills. •Knowledge in working with Infotainment setup. •Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team. •Good problem-solving and analytical skills. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
