We are seeking a highly skilled AI Developer/ Data Scientist with a background in providing technical solutions for identifying Cross-sell Opportunities, Credit Risk Analysis, KYC, and Onboarding Document review processes. The successful candidate will work as an individual contributor implementing AI for forecasting, classification, summarization, and document extraction for various business functions supporting Citi’s Global Markets and Securities Services businesses

Responsibilities:

• Drive AI/Machine Learning development and implementation
• Focus on Generative AI / Large Language Models for automating key business functionalities.
• Work with business to identify analytical and technical opportunities to improve existing processes or address pain points.
• Handle large and complex data sets (both internal and external) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation making use of tools such as SQL, Python, PySpark, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Large Language Models, etc.
• Familiarity with Vector Databases like Chroma or FAISS  
• Engage in the design, implementation, and coding of feature-driven analytic models, including data structure and design to support the delivery of such models.
• Ensure all Risk and Controls requirements in analytics or technical processes such as documentation, testing, and ongoing performance monitoring are met.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years working experience in the AI/ML domain, preferably in the Finance/Risk analytics field.
• Demonstrated programming skills using Python/SQL/PySpark/ Java or .NET for data processing and data analytics.
• Solid knowledge and implementation experience of Large Language Model pipelines: Pre-trained LLM (such as Llama, Gemini, Mixtral), GPT, RAG, Fine-tuning, Prompt Engineering, Vector DB, LangChain, etc.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.

• BS/MS in Computer Science / Data Science or equivalent

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$121,200.00 - $181,800.00
