Position Summary

This is a remote opportunity. Preference given to individuals available to work east coast hours.


Dynamic, fast-paced position supporting the One CM Platform. This role is part of Aetna’s Clinical Platform’s Organization with focus on leading the Project Management Office (PMO) for a multi-year transformation initiative. The position will have overall accountability for strategic planning, execution, governance, and value realization. Join our team and be on the front lines of re-imagining Care Management.

Key components of this role include:

  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in project management principles and disciplines.
  • Develop, implement, and refine standardized project management methodologies, policies, procedures, tools, and templates across the program.
  • Track progress against key milestones, creating and implementing value-based metrics and analysis to measure outcomes.
  • Implement effective project/program controls including program schedules, metric development, status reporting/tracking results and financials.
  • Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with Senior Management
  • Prepare executive level presentations.
  • Organize and lead Steering Committee meetings with senior leadership.
  • Develop and execute set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including a communication plan, stakeholder management plan, change impacts, & training plan

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Define processes for collecting project/program/service data on which portfolio decisions are based.
  • Preparing and maintaining team budget and resource allocation.
  • Manage multi-year projects/programs of medium to large complexity from inception through to implementation.
  • Provide leadership and support on initiatives to ensure efficient execution.
  • Monitor key project metrics and health of project portfolios, develop dashboards for insights.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are engaged in developing strategies, solutions and/or supportive of the strategic solutions designed using strong influencing skills.
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
  • Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program.
  • Conducts change readiness, change impact assessments, and post-change management assessments to determine the effectiveness of communication, training, change implementation and user understanding.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience.
  • 5 plus years of end-to-end personnel management - hiring, coaching, mentoring.
  • Proven track record managing large scale initiatives in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Skilled at saying “No” to create clarity and priority for the program.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Scaled Agile certification or equivalent.
  • Salesforce certifications and/or relevant certifications



Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
