Role summary

The Project and Data Engineer Intern at Flowserve will support engineering and data-driven projects within the Budapest Engineering Center. The role involves preparing and optimizing pump curve data, assisting with component design and technical drawings in SolidWorks, and contributing to documentation for pump and seal systems. This internship offers hands-on experience with real engineering challenges, coding in C#, and collaboration with experienced professionals in a dynamic, flexible environment.

Flowserve is looking for a mechanical engineering intern to work in our Engineering Center in Budapest, where you will have the chance to work on real engineering problems together with our full-time employees. 

Your Role:

• Supporting a data preparation project on pump curve optimizations
• Code is written in the C# (C-sharp) language and has proven functionality
• Component design in Solidworks
• Preparation of technical drawings in Solidworks
• Preparation of technical documentation of Flowserve’s pump and seal system products

Your Profile

• Active status on ongoing mechanical engineering studies and knowledge about rotating machinery is an advantage
• Communication level English language skills
• able to communicate with a site and understand location and format(s) of the Excel test report
• Visual studio knowledge
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Sufficient knowledge in at least one CAD software, Solidworks is an advantage
• A plus would be some basic understanding of test curves, head, flow, etc
• You should be able to undertake at least 20 hours a week
