About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our global technology team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solving complex technical challenges, mentoring others, and driving innovation in a collaborative environment. 

 

Responsibilities:  

 

  • Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources. 

  • Provide design input across products and systems. 

  • Interface with customers and end users to understand requirements and deliver solutions. 

  • Write and review detailed specifications and complex code for system components. 

  • Lead large, multifunctional development activities and solve complex technical problems. 

  • Mentor lead developers and provide consultancy on development methodologies and optimization techniques. 

  • Complete complex bug fixes and contribute to system architecture and design. 

  • Collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement. 

 

Requirements: 

  • 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering. 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred. 

  • Expertise in software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). 

  • Strong experience in data modeling, optimization, and manipulation. 

  • Deep understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles. 

  • Proficiency in test-driven development and maintenance. 

  • Expert knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems. 

  • Strong budgeting and financial planning skills. 

  • Proven experience with desktop tool sets and development languages including Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net. 

  • Solid knowledge of architectural principles and industry trends. 

  • Experience with resource models such as Managed Services and Staff Augmentation. 

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. 

  • Advanced problem-solving and project planning capabilities.
