Job Overview:

The Quality Management Product Manager plays a critical role within Fortrea, leading a passionate group of professionals to develop and deliver an impactful product to end users. Reporting to the Sr Director of Clinical Technology Platforms, this role revolves around managing the Quality Management product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical execution. The successful candidate will harness their deep understanding of the process of quality management in a CRO environment along with capabilities available in the market to deliver a user-centric product that meets our business needs.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Quality Management product portfolio, overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle from conception to delivery.

  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, and work with the development team to deliver competitive and innovative solutions.

  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, regarding product development progress and challenges.

  • Manage the product budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and inform future product strategies.

  • Ensure that the product complies with relevant regulatory standards and ethical guidelines in clinical research.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and implementation.

  • Collaborate with research, development, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure product success and alignment with business objectives.

  • Regularly gather and integrate customer and end-user feedback into the product development process to enhance usability and effectiveness.

  • Knowledge of quality management applications as well as CTMS - Clinical Trial management systems

  • Deep understanding of clinical operations, as well as the use of quality management as a tool to execute clinical trials

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field. Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.

  • Proven experience managing CTMS or similar technology.

  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of product management principles.

  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and team coordination skills.

  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.

Experience (Minimum Required):  

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with quality management technology.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering user-focused solutions.

  • Experience in market analysis and product lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Professional certification in product management.

  • Experience in a Clinical Research Organization or healthcare-related industry.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence decision-making.
